Ukraine has presented the report on the decarbonization of the energy sector by 2050 and the preliminary version of the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) for the period 2025-2030 during the panel discussion “Ukraine's path to Net Zero - 2030 and 2050 goals”. The panel discussion took place on December 5 within the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change COP 28. -

On 4 December, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine held consultations with the European Union delegation on Pillar II of the Ukraine Facility programme for 2024-2027. Pillar II provides for the creation of a special EUR 8 billion investment mechanism to reduce the risks of financing programmes in priority sectors, enabling private investors to obtain financing for investment projects through international financial institutions. -

The Governments of Ukraine and Bulgaria agreed on the procedure for the export of certain types of agricultural products. In particular, the procedure for applying the procedure for the verification of exports to Bulgaria of four crops was agreed – this refers to rapeseed, corn, wheat and sunflower. -

In November, explosive ordnance disposal units of government agencies and non-governmental operators surveyed more than 17,000 hectares of agricultural land. According to the regional military administrations, more than 257,000 hectares of land have been surveyed since the beginning of the year as part of priority demining of agricultural land. -

Slovenia will provide Ukraine with EUR 1.5 million for humanitarian demining. The corresponding Agreement was signed on 4 December 2023 in Ljubljana by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia Andrii Taran, on behalf of the Government of Ukraine, and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Tanja Fajon, on behalf of the Government of Slovenia. The signing ceremony was attended online by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, and Mateja Prevolšek, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to Ukraine.
