20.09.2022 | 18:53 | Section for Public and Mass Media Relations

The second online auction was held as part of “small privatization”. And it turned out to be more effective than the first one, when more than UAH 70 million worth of property was sold.

The second privatization online auction since the beginning of the large-scale invasion successfully ended with the sale of the property at a price almost three times higher than the starting price. The winner of the auction offered UAH 150,001,000 for the separate property of the Marylivske alcohol storage of State-Owned Enterprise “Ukrspyrt” (Ternopil Oblast) with the starting price of UAH 54,324,111.

“Privatization is gaining momentum. By the end of this year, 150 facilities are planned to be sold as part of “small privatization”, and we will try our best to fulfill the plan. The funds received will strengthen the budget and will be used, among other things, for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine. “Currently, we are also solving a strategic task, which is the reduction of the state’s share in the economy, the minimization of extraneous functions of property management. In addition, privatization will give impetus to the development of the economy.”

The Marylivske operating location and alcohol storage of State-Owned Enterprise “Ukrspyrt” was modernized very recently, in 2018. Core business – production of rectified and denatured ethyl alcohol (temporarily suspended as of today). The enterprise has basic technological equipment; all necessary utilities are connected.

Four participants competed for the right to purchase it. After signing the sales and purchase agreement, the new owner will receive production premises and equipment, grain storage and transport.

We remind you that on 19 September, at the first online auctions since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, at a price almost three times higher than the starting price, the separate property of the Kobylovoloky alcohol storage was sold for more than UAH 70 million.
