    We call on Italian companies to start cooperating with Ukraine now – Yuliia Svyrydenko during a meeting with Italian business community The Government is developing a strategy for the country’s economic development and recovery and calls on European partners to join the reconstruction process. Ukraine invites Italian businesses to start cooperating in priority sectors now, without waiting for the war to end. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko in her speech at the Bilateral Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine. The event was attended by representatives of the Italian business community and members of the Italian Government.
  • Ukraine works with European Commission to unblock Ukrainian grain exports to EU – Taras Kachka Ukraine and the European Union are working together to resolve the issue of Poland lifting its ban on Ukrainian grain and food imports. There is no legal basis for such restrictions as of today. All parties are interested in resolving this issue as soon as possible, as maintaining mutually beneficial cooperation is a priority.
  • Ministry of Economy is developing the architecture of military risk insurance – Oleksandr Hryban The Ministry of Economy, together with partners, is developing an architecture for insurance of military risks, in particular in investment insurance. Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksandr Hryban said this while opening the First Ukrainian-Scandinavian Economic Forum. The event organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry gathered more than 250 business representatives from Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Ukraine.

Ukraine is open to investment and attracting international businesses in various sectors of its economy, while the Government is implementing the necessary instruments to ensure a favourable business climate and legislative framework.
  • We impose sanctions against Iran: assistance to the aggressor will not go unpunished – Yuliia Svyrydenko The Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision to submit to the National Security and Defense Council proposals for the imposition of sectoral sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Government made the relevant decision at a meeting on 25 April.
