American companies are ready to participate in projects aimed at restoring and modernizing Ukraine’s energy sector. Such prospects for cooperation between Ukraine and the United States were discussed during a video conference by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, Advisor to the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources Geoffrey Pyatt, Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko, CEO of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, representatives of the largest U.S. energy companies, as well as U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink and Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova. -

Ukraine is interested in increasing the number of humanitarian demining programs initiated by international institutions and expanding existing ones. In particular, the joint project of the UN World Food Programme (WFP), the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the Fondation Suisse de Déminage (FSD) to clear smallholders’ land and support agricultural producers should be expanded. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko at an online meeting with Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the UN World Food Programme. -

306 Ukrainians will receive UAH 72 million in grants from the state to start or develop their businesses under the Own Business program following the tenth wave of applications filed. Since the beginning of 2023, 2,800 entrepreneurs have already become winners of the program and will receive grants worth UAH 665 million. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Tetiana Berezhna.
