The Government is launching a programme of 25% compensation for the cost of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery. The corresponding decision was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on March 8, 2024.

“Supporting the national producer, stimulating demand for products and goods made in Ukraine is the basis of our state policy. The introduction of a compensation programme of 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery purchased by our farmers is only one of the programmes of such support. For its implementation, we have provided for UAH 1 billion in this year’s budget. In the future, we plan to expand the scope of the programme to other types of domestically produced equipment. Our way to economic growth and self-sufficiency is to produce Ukrainian, to buy Ukrainian, to develop Ukrainian industry,” Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, said.

The list of suppliers of agricultural machinery, the cost of which can be partially compensated under the terms of the programme, will begin to be formed after the entry into force of the Government’s decision and will be published on the official website of the Ministry of Economy.

To receive partial compensation for the cost of agricultural machinery, farmers will need to purchase domestically produced machinery and submit an application for compensation and supporting documents to an authorized bank.
