Ministry of Economy of Ukraine
On 27 October, Ministry of Economy in collaboration with SC Ukroboronprom organised Virtual Workshop How to Do Business with NSPA. This event allowed participants to:
analyse in detail the features of cooperation with NSPA,
raise the general level of awareness of the participants about the formats of possible cooperation with NSPA,
acquaint the audience with the tools of registration in the Database of suppliers of Defence products and online services NSPA,
analyse the peculiarities of the work of the NATO codification system.
In addition to the theoretical basis which was provided during the Workshop, the event allowed to generate practical solutions now and start a substantive dialogue with NSPA on the active entry of Ukrainian enterprises into new competitive markets.
In addition to the practical preparation of participants-enterprises for cooperation with NSPA, during the Workshop areas for improvement in the legal field were identified, which will improve and facilitate the business operations with NSPA. For example, the idea is to develop and implement a Declaration of Eligibility appeared, which will confirm the compliance of Ukrainian defence companies with NATO criteria for doing business in the international arena.
“We move on from theory to practice: the Ministry of Economy begins to develop a mechanism for issuing Declarations of Integrity to enterprises. This initiative was born as part of a study of cooperation with the NSPA, which will strengthen Ukraine's position in the international arena and defence companies seeking to maintain or occupy a significant position among key stakeholders in the defence industry of NATO member and partner countries. " - said Deputy Minister Panaiotidi Svetlana during the opening of the event.

Ukraine can adopt a holistic approach to land demining in Cambodia: Ihor Bezkaravainyi
As part of a several-day joint working visit with the participation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Ihor Bezkaravainyi visited the Kingdom of Cambodia – a country that, before the beginning of the large-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, was considered the most mined in the world. During the visit, the Ukrainian delegation was introduced to the work of relevant departments involved in demining. Meetings were also held at the level of deputy ministers in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia. Members of the delegation had the opportunity to find out more about the progress of demining operations in the country. -

UAH 1.25 billion is provided for to support business development in the Chernihiv Oblast in 2024: Yuliia Svyrydenko

Assembled and partially localized in Ukraine: the MV-4 light demining vehicle was tested at the training ground
The DOK-ING MV-4 light demining vehicle, assembled and partially localised in Ukraine, was tested at a training ground. For the first time, the tests were conducted in accordance with the pilot project developed by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and approved by the Government regarding the mandatory certification of mechanized demining equipment (Resolution No. 271).
