At the opening of the New York Stock Exchange, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi presented a platform for potential foreign investors. It hosts more than 500 investment projects and opportunities in 10 branches of the economy. It is a part of the large-scale Advantage Ukraine campaign developed by WPP with the support of the President of Ukraine.

The platform was presented by Volodymyr Zelenskyi, who took part in the event online, as well as the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko. The round table, within the framework of which the presentation took place, brought together the leaders of the world’s leading companies whose shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange. In particular, Pfizer Inc, S&P Global Inc, American International Group, Bank of New York Mellon, Wells Farg&Company and others.

As part of the Advantage Ukraine campaign, a special platform has been created, which hosts investment projects and opportunities in 10 branches:

- military-industrial complex;

- metallurgy and metal processing;

- energy;

- agro-industrial complex;

- woodworking and furniture making;

- innovative technologies;

- logistics and infrastructure;

- pharmaceuticals;

- natural resources;

- industrial production.

Ukraine offers the stakeholders a wide investment menu of potential opportunities worth more than $400 billion. The Ukrainian delegation presented it in Lugano, and the list of actual projects is currently increasing and becoming more diverse every day.

After registering on the platform with a few clicks, each potential investor will receive information about investment opportunities and benefits that he will have from the implementation of the project.

Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized that the Government, in the process of restoring Ukraine, is placing a strong bet on the business. It launched a number of grant programs, thanks to which many entrepreneurs began to revive their own undertakings. More than 700 enterprises have been relocated from hot spots, over 500 of them have already resumed their businesses. Therefore, there are already more than enough projects and investment opportunities at this stage.

“A number of promising projects are ready for launch, but need investments. This is one of the key conditions for the success of the reconstruction of Ukraine. We have collected and continue to collect most of these projects on one platform. Today here, at the opening of bids on the New York Stock Exchange, we are announcing the start of the campaign and the launch of the platform. We invite managers of world’s leading companies whose shares are listed on the stock exchange to join”, said Yulia Svyrydenko at the platform’s presentation in New York.

NYSE Group President Lynn Martin, WPP CEO Mark Reed, Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, President and Vice Chairman of Microsoft Corporation Brad Smith, President of the Committee for Economic Development of the Conference Board Lori Esposito Murray expressed support for the Ukrainian initiative and emphasized that Ukraine has broad prospects for attracting foreign investments.
