#AdvantageUkraine: Ukraine received over 500 investment requests during three months

During the three months of operation of the Advantage Ukraine investment platform, over 500 inquiries have been received concerning investment opportunities in Ukraine as well as offers for projects and trade cooperation. This is confirmed by the operational data of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
“We observe considerable interest in projects in Ukraine from potential investors from such countries as the USA, UK, Germany, Denmark and Belgium. In particular, the Advantage Ukraine project team, working with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine, is already handling about 150 requests from strategic and portfolio investors. Investment incentives and war risk insurance are still among the most common areas of consulting,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksandr Hryban.
In the framework of the Advantage Ukraine initiative, investors are traditionally interested in opportunities in such areas as innovation and technology, agriculture, infrastructure and logistics as well as the energy sector and defence industry.
We remind that the Advantage Ukraine investment attraction initiative was presented on 6 September as part of the campaign developed by WPP with the support of the President of Ukraine. The platform contains investment projects and opportunities in 10 sectors of the economy with a potential totaling more than USD 400 billion.
In November, the Ministry of Economy also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the world’s largest investment company BlackRock. As part of this cooperation, Ukraine will be consulted on the development of a special platform for attracting primarily private capital to recover Ukraine and support its economy.
The Government is currently working on practical tools and reconstruction projects for the prompt post-war recovery of Ukraine.

European Commission approves the Plan for the Ukraine Facility
On Monday, 15 April, the European Commission approved the Plan for the Ukraine Facility and invited the EU Council to adopt the document. Denmark allocates DKK 300 million to support business projects of its companies in Ukraine
The Danish government allocates additional funds for the Danish-Ukrainian fund, which promotes the attraction of investments by Danish companies in Ukraine. This was stated by Minister for Business of Denmark Morten Bødskov during the Second Investment Forum on the Reconstruction of Ukraine. The event was opened by First Lady Olena Zelenska. eOselia: 9,000 Ukrainian families took loans for the purchase of housing worth UAH 14 billion
According to the eOselia programme, 9,000 Ukrainians took loans for the purchase of housing for a total amount of UAH 14 billion. Every fifth loan have been taken under mass mortgage conditions - at 7%. Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Nadiia Bihun informed about this.
