eRobota: Processing companies received more than UAH 280 million in development grants

Since the beginning of 2023, 61 processing companies have received development grants from the state totaling UAH 282 million. This was reported by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
“The development of processing is a strategic goal of the Government, and we are investing in this area to manufacture and export more finished products with a higher share of added value. Through the eRobota grant programs, we provide financial support to processing companies to boost the industry. Since the beginning of this year, 61 processing companies have received grants from the state for a total of UAH 282 million. By expanding their businesses, entrepreneurs will create about 900 new jobs,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.
Under the New Level grant program for processing companies, entrepreneurs can receive a grant of up to UAH 8 million for business development. Moreover, a prerequisite for receiving the funds is that the grant recipient must create new jobs, namely at least 25 jobs.
In 2022, 178 entrepreneurs received grants for the development of processing companies worth almost UAH 1 billion.
As a reminder, the Government’s eRobota project includes grant programs aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship and job creation. Moreover, these include microgrant programs for starting or developing a business, grants for establishing and developing processing enterprises, planting a garden, establishing viticulture and greenhouse facilities. Both existing entrepreneurs and people with no business experience can apply for a grant. Applications for all components of the eRobota program are currently open. Applications can be submitted on the Diia portal.

Ukraine Investment Framework Steering Board approves terms of operation of the investment component of the Ukraine Facility

Foreign investors can diversify risks by investing in small and medium-sized businesses: Nadiia Bihun
