The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine analyzed the status of implementation of international technical assistance projects in 2018 on the basis of monitoring provided by their beneficiaries. It is known that international technical assistance is the resources and services provided by donors on a gratuitous and irrevocable basis in order to support Ukraine in accordance with international treaties.
During 2018, Ukraine implemented 618 international technical assistance projects to the total estimated cost of USD 6.6 billion (including 10 projects costing USD 3.1 billion funded from Chernobyl Foundation “Ukryttia” and the Nuclear Safety Account).
In 2018 Ukraine implemented 109 international technical assistance projects (to almost USD 1 billion) having exceeded the figure of 2017.
