Today, Tymofiy Mylovanov, the Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, took part in the conference on land management reform “Land as a Factor in the Development of the Ukrainian Village”, which was held under the auspices of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

During his speech, Tymofiy Mylovanov spoke about the main and priority tasks for the creation of a land market.

“We must create the conditions for every Ukrainian to have the same rights as a large agricultural holding and to have an opportunity to develop if he or she is better than others. We have to ensure equal rules of game so that the win was gained by those who are ready to work rather than by those having better links”, said Tymofiy Mylovanov.

The Minister also stressed that the problematic issues faced by the farmers today are primarily addressed through access to resources. The Minister said that assistance should be provided to those who really need it, and the task of the state is to create truly fair conditions both for those who have big capital and for small entrepreneurs.

“Today, a farmer must receive sufficient resources, funds and government support to compete fully with large business. That is why our task is to ensure complete transparency when creating the land market”, emphasized the Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
