Processing enterprises that received a grant from the state for development paid more than UAH 1 billion in taxes in 2023
04.03.2024 | 13:22 | Section for Public and Mass Media RelationsIn 2023, processing enterprises that are participants in the Government’s eRobota programme paid more than UAH 1 billion in taxes to the budget.
In total, since the start of the New Level grant programme for processing enterprises, 633 enterprises have received grant support from the state for a total amount of UAH 3.2 billion.
“Ukrainian business is learning to attract external financing and state tools for development. This is the right way. This approach has long and successfully proven itself in the European Union. The proposed grant programmes and tools stimulate the development of Ukrainian business, so I encourage all interested entrepreneurs to try, prepare applications and apply,” Nadiia Bihun, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, noted.
According to statistics, among the applicants for grants for processing enterprises, 77% are legal entities, 17% are individual entrepreneurs, and 5% are individuals.
Entrepreneurs mostly use the grant funds for the purchase of equipment (78%) and its commissioning (12%), part of the grant funds was used for the delivery of the equipment purchased for the grant funds - 9%.
In accordance with the strategy of economic development, Ukrainian processing enterprises focus on creating goods with added value, supporting domestic production and entrepreneurship. They strive for effective cooperation, buying Ukrainian equipment, paying taxes and creating new jobs. One hryvnia invested in the work of such companies creates about 20 hryvnias in the form of products, which indicates the high profitability of such an approach.
As a reminder, the third wave of applications for a grant for processing enterprises under the New Level programme is currently underway. Applications are accepted until March 8.
Both active entrepreneurs and people who do not yet have business experience may apply. Applications are submitted through the Diia portal.
The Government eRobota project includes grant programmes aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial activity and job creation. In particular, these are micro-grant programmes for opening or developing one’s own business, grants for the creation and development of processing enterprises, planting a garden and viticulture, and greenhouse farming.

Ukraine Investment Framework Steering Board approves terms of operation of the investment component of the Ukraine Facility
The first meeting of the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF) Steering Board, at which the rules of procedure and Strategic Guidelines for the investment component of the EU’s Ukraine Facility programme were approved, has taken place. More than UAH 3.2 billion will be available to businesses in Dnipropetrovsk region under the Made in Ukraine state policy: Yuliia Svyrydenko

Foreign investors can diversify risks by investing in small and medium-sized businesses: Nadiia Bihun
