UAH 1.25 billion is provided for to support business development in the Chernihiv Oblast in 2024: Yuliia Svyrydenko

Презентація економічної платформи «Зроблено в Україні» та зустріч з підприємцями Чернігівщини під головуванням Президента України Володимира Зеленського.

This year, as part of the Made in Ukraine policy initiated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Chernihiv Oblast businesses will be able to receive at least UAH 1.25 billion under all support programmes. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko during the presentation of the Made in Ukraine economic platform and a meeting with entrepreneurs of the Chernihiv Oblast chaired by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Made in Ukraine is an opportunity to support the business of the region in the most difficult time for it. This year, we are continuing and significantly expanding support programmes. These are well-known tools for business, such as Affordable Loans 5-7-9, grants for processing, Vlasna Sprava (Own Business) grants for micro, small and medium-sized businesses, grants for male and female veterans, their wives and husbands, the School Bus programme. Localization policy in public procurement. As well as new or renewed programmes such as compensation for the purchase of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery, development of industrial parks, support for projects with significant investments, and others. The Chernihiv Oblast is already actively using some of these programmes. But we hope that more and more companies will take advantage of the state’s opportunities. That is why this year, as part of Made in Ukraine, we have allocated at least UAH 1.25 billion for the Chernihiv Oblast within the framework of all programmes. This number is not a limit, because the more actively businesses in the region apply for support programmes, the more funds they will be able to receive,” Yuliia Svyrydenko noted.

According to First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, the state has set a record UAH 45 billion for business support in 2024. According to forecasts, of this year’s GDP growth of 4.6%, the contribution of these programmes will be at the level of 1%.

As part of the event, documents have been signed on various areas of business support, which are part of this financing. Thus, in particular, the order on entering products of a number of manufacturers, including the Chernihiv TAN manufacturing plant, in the list of agricultural machinery and equipment of domestic production, the cost of which is partially compensated from the budget, has been signed.

“This is an extremely important step, because in fact, today’s signing officially launched the compensation programme for Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery. That is, buying equipment from TAN and other manufacturers, farmers will be able to get back 25% of the cost of this equipment. I am convinced that this will become an incentive for the development of the machine-building industry, because we saw such a trend in the previous periods when the programme was in effect,” Yuliia Svyrydenko said.

In addition, loan agreements have been signed within the framework of the Affordable Loans 5-7-9 programme between Oschadbank and PRYLUKY-AGROINVEST LLC and NG Engineering LLC. The first of the companies uses credit funds to purchase modern agricultural equipment and machinery, the second - a lathe.

Agreements have also been signed within the framework of programmes aimed at supporting veterans. In particular, the mortgage agreement under the eOselia affordable housing programme, thanks to which Ukrainians can purchase their own housing at a low interest rate. And a memorandum on support and partnership within the framework of the Vlasna Sprava (Own Business) grant programme for veterans between the State Employment Service and a veteran, a participant in hostilities, who receives a grant to create his own business in the amount of UAH 250,000.
