Property of russian oligarch Deripaska seized in favour of the state
17.02.2023 | 11:26 | Section for Public and Mass Media RelationsThe assets of the russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, who is close to Vladimir Putin, in Ukraine will be seized in favour of our state. On 16 February, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) of Ukraine upheld the claim of the Ministry of Justice to apply a corresponding sanction against Deripaska and MK United Company RUSAL PJSC.
Deripaska has become another russian oligarch whose assets will work for the recovery of Ukraine. Sanctions have been introduced against more than 250 people from the russian Forbes list and their entourage. The Interagency Working Group on Sanctions Policy, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, began work on sanctions against Deripaska six months ago, and today’s court decision is a milestone in this process. But this is not the finale yet, and the property of the sanctioned persons in Ukraine will continue to be collected under the law in favour of the state. At the same time, the IWG is making every effort to ensure that russian assets abroad are also transferred to Ukraine within the compensation for the damages caused by the aggressor.
According to the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court, the following were collected to the state income:
- 100% of the shares of Hlukhiv Quartzite Quarry LLC (located at: 18A Zavodska Street, village of Banychi, Hlukhiv Raion, Sumy Oblast, USREOU code 14015554);
- 100% Mykolaiv Alumina Plant LLC (located at: 64 Naberezhna Street, village of Halynytsove, Vitovskyi Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast, USREOU code 33133003);
- 100% of the shares of Aluminum of Ukraine Company LLC (located at: 18/7-V Henerala Almazova Street, Kyiv, USREOU code 30348178);
- 100% of the shares of Guardon of Ukraine LLC (located at: 94A Povitroflotskyi Avenue, Kyiv, USREOU code 33144806);
- 100% of the shares of Metalurg Service Center LLC (located at: 64 Naberezhna Street, village of Halynytsove, Vitovskyi Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast, USREOU code 32654880);
- 100% of the shares of CHAS IT LLC (located at: 64 Naberezhna Street, village of Halynytsove, Vitovskyi Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast, USREOU code 34375844);
- 99% of the shares of Okhorona MHZ LLC (located at: 64 Naberezhna Street, village of Halynytsove, Vitovskyi Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast, USREOU code 33896836);
- 100% of the shares of Mykolaiv Accounting Center LLC (located at: 64 Naberezhna Street, village of Halynytsove, Vitovskyi Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast, USREOU code 34319397);
- 100% of the shares of Mykolaiv Charitable Foundation Center of Social Programs (located at: 325/1 Bohoiavlenskyi Avenue, Mykolaiv, Mykolaiv Oblast, USREOU code 33250256);
- 100% of the shares of Zaporizhalumintorh LLC (located at: 15 Pivdenne Shose, Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, USREOU code 32573524);
- 29.5363% of the shares of Zaporizhzhia Production Aluminum Combine JSC (located at: 15 Pivdenne Shose, Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, USREOU code 00194122);
- 100% of the shares of Khust Quarry PrJSC (located at: 1 Promzona Street, village of Rokosovo, Khust Raion, Zakarpattia Oblast, USREOU code 05467613);
- 100% of the shares of Zhezheliv Quarry PrJSC (located at: 1-V Karierna Street, village of Zhezheliv, Koziatyn Raion, Vinnytsia Oblast, USREOU code 00292379);
- more than three hundred objects of movable and immovable property.
The Interagency Working Group on Sanctions Policy reviewed and recommended to submit to the NDSC of Ukraine proposals to apply sanctions against Deripaska at the meeting on 9 September 2022.
By his decree, the President of Ukraine put into effect the relevant decision of the NDSC of Ukraine on 12 October 2022.
The same decision includes sanctions, inter alia, against ex-president Viktor Yanukovych. Yanukovych’s property was also seized in favour of the state by HACC’s decision.

Ukraine and Denmark have signed the Memorandum of Understanding on long-term cooperation and reconstruction of Ukraine. Ukraine Investment Framework Steering Board approves terms of operation of the investment component of the Ukraine Facility
The first meeting of the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF) Steering Board, at which the rules of procedure and Strategic Guidelines for the investment component of the EU’s Ukraine Facility programme were approved, has taken place. More than UAH 3.2 billion will be available to businesses in Dnipropetrovsk region under the Made in Ukraine state policy: Yuliia Svyrydenko

Foreign investors can diversify risks by investing in small and medium-sized businesses: Nadiia Bihun
