“The Government Has Transferred UAH 81 million to the Recipients of Grants for Business Creation and Development” – Yuliia Svyrydenko

The winners of the eRobota grant programs received funds in their accounts for the start-up and development of businesses for a total of UAH 81 million. This was reported by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine. 

“Grant programs launched by the Government to intensify entrepreneurship and stimulate employment among Ukrainians are in great demand. More than 11.5 thousand entrepreneurs and people seeking to open or expand their own business have already applied for grants. Today, the state offers everyone a unique opportunity to develop, providing financial support from micro-grants of up to UAH 250 thousand to grants of several million. Another 164 winners received their grants in the total amount of UAH 81 million and can already use them to implement their business ideas,” Yuliia Svyrydenko said.

Among grant recipients, 157 received micro-grants for a total of UAH 36.6 million, and 7 processing enterprises which were transferred funds for a total amount of UAH 44.4 million. 

The most popular among the government grant programs is “Own business”, under which Ukrainians can request UAH 150 thousand to 250 thousand for starting or developing their businesses. More than 10 thousand applications have been submitted for this program. To date, 243 winners of the 5th wave have already been determined. In total, according to the results of the five waves of the program, almost 1,300 people will receive micro-grants from the state. 

We remind you that earlier the Government transferred UAH 52.7 million to the first 227 winners of the “Your business” grant program, thus 384 Ukrainians have already received micro-grants from the state of up to UAH 250 thousand. 

The eRobota project includes 6 grant programs aimed at stimulating entrepreneurship. In particular, these are micro-grant programs for opening or developing one’s own business, grants for the establishment and development of processing enterprises, arranging a garden and viticulture, greenhouse farming, support for IT startups and starting in IT.  

According to the Government’s calculations, the implementation of all grant programs of the eRobota project will make it possible to create more than 300 thousand new jobs in Ukraine. 

Currently, applications for all directions of the eRobota program are accepted. Application is submitted through the Diia Portal.
