The European Union is Ukraine's main trading partner. According to the results of 2019, the share of trade in goods and services with the EU amounted to 40.1% of total trade in Ukraine (according to the results of 2018 - 41.1%).

GOODS AND SERVICES

Total Trade             2018: $ 49.7 billion (↑14.2%).

Turnover                2019: $ 52.6 billion (↑5.8%).

Exports                        2018: $ 23.1 billion (↑14.6%).

            2019: $ 24.0 billion (↑3.9%).

Imports                         2018: $ 26.6 billion (↑13.9%).

2019: $ 28.6 billion (↑7.5%).

Balance                        2018: - $ 3.5 billion.

2019: - $ 4.6 billion.

Total Trade          2018: $ 43.4 billion (↑13.1%).

Turnover              2019: $ 45.7 billion (↑5.5%).

Boilers, machines, and mechanical appliances – 13.9% (↑8.9%);

Energy materials – 13.7% (↑4.4%);

Ground transport facilities excluding railway – 9.6% (↑2.5%);

Electric machines and equipment – 8.2% (↑21.4%);

Pharmaceutical products – 6.1% (↑9.8%);

Polymeric materials, plastics – 6.0% (↑8.8%);

Other chemical products – 3.7% (↑3.2%);

Paper and cardboard – 2.7% (↑3.3%).

Nuclear reactors, boilers, machines – 13.3% (↑3.4%);

Ground transport facilities excluding railway – 13.0% (↑46.1%);

Telecommunication services – 20.7% (↑23.6%);

Business services – 13.2% (↑17.7%);

Repair and maintenance services – 1.8% (↓6.4%).

2019: $ 4.3 billion (↑7.7%):

Transport services – 30.9% (↑4.0%);

Material resources processing services – 24.5% (↑0.8%);

Telecommunication services – 23.1% (↑18.8%);

Business services – 13.3% (↑7.6%);

Repair and maintenance services – 2.1% (↑30.4%).

Imports               2018: $ 3,4 billion (↑32.5%):

Transport services – 26.1% (↑17.9%);

Business services – 22.1% (↑54.2%);

Travel services – 13.5% (↑33.4%);

Royalties and other related services – 12.2% (↑22.7%);

Telecommunication services – 10.1% (↑23.5%).
