The Council of the European Union adopted the 12th package of economic and individual restrictive measures in connection with the continuation of russian aggression against Ukraine. The new package included, in particular, sanctions against russian diamonds, increased restrictions on the export of technologies and goods used by the russian military-industrial complex, additional restrictions on the import of goods that bring significant income to russia, measures designed to minimize the ability of the aggressor state to circumvent PriceCap for petroleum and its products, etc. -

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, more than 2,900 environmental crimes committed by russia have been documented. Ukraine, together with its foreign partners, is trying to assess the environmental damage caused by russian aggression and bring the aggressor to justice. This was stated by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine, in a video address to MEPs within the framework of the High-Level Working Group on the Environmental Consequences of War for Ukraine. -

The Ukrainian economy continues to demonstrate positive dynamics even in spite of adverse external factors. According to preliminary estimates of the Ministry of Economy, GDP growth in October 2023 compared to October last year is about 10.5% [±2%]. As a result, for January-October 2023, the growth of the economy is estimated at the level of 5.5% compared to the corresponding period last year.
