Hladkyi O. «Economic regularities of the formation and
principles of the development of industrial agglomerates» – The survey and
the systematization of ideas of various scientists-economists concerning the
regularities of the formation of industrial agglomerates are realized. A number
of universal regularities of the formation and the regional development of
industrial-agglomerative structures are separated. On the basis of the
indicated regularities, some principles of development of industrial
agglomerates are proposed.

T. Ben’ «The comparative analysis of the
determination of an economic efficiency of investment projects by various
methods» – The author generalizes the results of calculations of the
economic efficiency of 36 investment projects by different methods, makes their
grouping, performs the comparative analysis of the efficiency indices, and
presents some recommendations as for applications of an improved method.

P. Hrytsyuk «The crop capacity dynamics: forecasts and
risks» – The dynamics of the mean crop capacity of winter wheat for
Ukraine’s regions for 53 last years is analyzed, and a polyharmonic model of
crop capacity is proposed. Basing on the correlation analysis of the connection
between the crop capacity and the profitability, the author constructs an
empiric model allowing one to make a prognostic evaluation of the
profitability. The regions with synchronous variations of the crop capacity are
separated.

O. Skydan «Ukraine’s food sphere under conditions of
globalization challenges» – The author presents and substantiates the
methodological-theoretic foundations, organizational measures, priority tasks,
and main directions of the formation of an agrarian policy aimed at the ensuring
of Ukraine’s food safety under both the intensification of the processes of
globalization and integration and the continuation of the world-wide food
crisis.
ECONOMIC PROBLEMS OF THE
NATURE MANAGEMENT
Dovbenko M. «The Coase theorem, Kyoto
protocol, and ecological investments for Ukraine» – The more frequent
natural cataclysms for 30 last years have led to human sacrifices and huge
economic losses. The author presents the essence of the scientific idea of an
economist R. Coase, a winner of Nobel’s Prize in economy, concerning the market
mechanism of liquidation of one of the negative externals, namely the global
warming. The economic potential of Ukraine’s
economic entities as for the realization of the Kyoto protocol on a decrease of the rate of
discharge of dangerous gases into the atmosphere is shown. By the example of
measures realized at the open joint-stock company “Ivano-Frankivs’ktsement”, it
is demonstrated how the investment asserts for the sale of rights on the
ecological quotas determined by the Kyoto
protocol can be received.
Skrypchuk P. «The ecological audit of
territorial-economic systems» – On the basis of a system approach, the
author has defined the indices for the ecological audit of territorial-economic
systems with the purpose to model the economic, ecological, and social
situations jointly for the development of economic mechanisms of management of
administrative districts and regions.
