economy» – The problem of the integration of
prediction-plan studies is considered in the context of the consolidation of
interests of the state and the society. A structural model of the coordination
of systems of macro- and microeconomic prediction and planning is proposed.

I. Sotnik «On the macroeconomic consequences of resource-saving» – The
preconditions of the activation of resource-saving in Ukraine are studied. The main
positive and negative aspects of modern resource-saving transformations of the
national economic system are analyzed, and the principles of the construction
of mechanisms of the control over their realization. The strategic tasks and
methods of regulation of the resource-saving processes are determined, and some
practical directions to use the mentioned methods in the control over
consequences of the resource-saving transformations are proposed.
Yu. Sherstennykov, L. Romashchuk «On the interconnection of the
capital-labor ratio and the production volume» – The authors propose an
economic-mathematical model with 2-factor multiplicative production. This model
allows one to formalize the interconnections of such parameters as the expenses
on the capital-labor ratio, the number of a staff, and the production volume. The
conditions, under which an enterprise preserves a positive dynamics of
development, are clarified.

I. Doroshenko «The crisis on financial capital markets» – The theoretical and practical aspects of the appearance of
financial crises in the global environment are studied. The preconditions for
the appearance of a financial crisis and the mechanisms of its development and
spreading are considered. The influence of the world financial crisis on
financial capital markets and on the development of the world economy on the
whole and Ukraine’s
economy, in particular, is determined. Specific features of the
interconnections of Ukraine’s
economy with the global financial environment are analyzed, and the main
factors of a potential formation of crises are defined.

V. Hosh «The functioning of Ukraine’s
socio-economic structure» – The author considers the main directions of a
reformation of the socio-economic structure from the viewpoint of the
correspondence to an objective state of the society and substantiates the
conclusion about the necessity of their correction to take out the Ukrainian
society from the deadlock.
METHODS OF ECONOMIC-MATHEMATICAL
MODELING
T. Burlai, O. Bilotserkivets’ «A prognostic econometric model
for the evaluation of changes in Ukraine’s real GDP with regard for potential
shocking effects» – The authors describe an econometric model for the
prediction of changes in Ukraine’s real GDP under the influence of factors
possessing a significant shocking potential and present the results of
corresponding prognostic calculations for 2009-2010 performed on the basis of
this model (with the use of a scenario-based approach).
QUESTIONS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF AIC
D. Krysanov, L. Udova «The clusterization of economic
activity and service as a tool of the steady development of rural territories»
– The main approaches to the formation of clusters in economically
developed European countries are studied. Factors hampering the formation of Ukraine’s
clusters, being the important condition for a steady development of rural
territories, are determined, and the promising directions and tools for the
elimination of the action of these factors are substantiated.

in the WTO: problems and perspectives of the development of the domestic
shipping» – The state of Ukraine’s
sea transport potential in a context of the development of the world and
European shipping is considered. The possibilities of the revival of the
branch, which would promote the growth of the national economy, are estimated. The
necessary and sufficient conditions for ensuring the operative and investment
attractiveness for the holding of ships with Ukraine’s State ensign are
substantiated.
