O. Horchakova “The ternary structure as a method of
formalization of an economic system» – By the example of a metallurgical enterprise, the ternary approach to the
structurization of an economic system is clarified. The system communications
are modeled in the conceptual 3D space with Cartesian coordinates. It is shown
that the ternary system connects strongly three methods used in the
formalization of essential properties, namely the graphical, theoretical, and
mathematical ones.

V. Parnyuk «Direct taxation of the expenses of natural
persons on the consumption» – The author studies the development of the
idea of direct taxation of the expenses of people on the consumption in works
of leading foreign economists, considers the question about the application of
a direct tax on the consumption to monopolies and agencies which render paid
services to the population (hotels, restaurants, etc.), and substantiates the
thought that, under conditions of the financial crisis, it is expedient to
exempt a part of profits, which is directed to bank deposits and invested into
state’s securities, from taxes.
METHODS OF ECONOMIC-MATHEMATICAL MODELING
A. Vdovychenko «Evaluation of determinants of
savings and the consumption of Ukraine’s
population on the basis of an empiric study» – Determinants of the economic
behavior of households in Ukraine
are studied. By using the econometric methods, some models of population’s
consumption and savings are constructed. It is concluded about the importance
of state’s fiscal and antiinflationary policies, the development of financial
mediation, and the inflow of foreign capitals for the enhancement of
population’s inclination to organized savings.
SCIENTIFIC DISCUSSIONS
I. Halytsya «Intellectual terror and
socio-economic methods of struggle against it» – The main reasons for the
appearance of intellectual terror and the socio-economic methods of its prevention
are considered. The paradox of strengthening the role of an individuality under
conditions of the globalization is substantiated.
D. Chystilin «A prediction of world economy’s
structure on the basis of a numerical experiment» – The development of the
world economy shows a complication of the structure in each 70 years. The
author proposes a nonlinear dynamical model which can explain the essence of
the observed phenomenon. The model is based on both a realization of the law of
conservation of the economic potential of a system and the principle of
self-organization. In addition to the model, the main principles of both the
execution of a numerical experiment and the analysis of the obtained results
are considered.
QUESTIONS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF AIC
R. Mudrak «Factors of the price dynamics on the
market of meat and meat products» – The contemporary state of the domestic
market of meat and meat products and the basic factors of a price conjuncture
are analyzed. It is shown that the dynamics of prices is mainly determined by
volumes and by the structure and cost of production. Increasing the volume of
consumption under conditions of the open competitive market does not influence
the growth of prices.

A. Fisun «The Japanese model of economy’s
development» – The author considers the experience of Japan in the creation of a specific
economic model with the unique system of management and organization of the
process of production which covers the macro- and microeconomic levels of the
development. This allowed Japan
to pass from a feudal state to the circle of highly developed countries for a
historically short time interval.
