its use in the administration of a region» – The apparatus of notions and
the preconditions for the process of informatization of the administration of a
region are studied, a system of informatization for the administration of a
region and its basic elements (resources, technologies, provision, etc.) are
analyzed, and the perspectives of this process are clarified on the basis of
the development and realization of regional programs.

Yu. Arkhangel’skyi «On the accuracy of a prediction of
the development of Ukraine’s
economy on the basis of intersectoral balance» – The author analyzes the predictions of “MEP Ukraina,” indicates their
low accuracy, and considers various methods to predict the production volumes
for
Ukraine’s branches such as those on the basis of intersectoral balance
and those using a simple extrapolation of time series. For 2005-2006, the
retroprediction of the coefficients of direct expenditures and the production
volumes for Ukraine’s
branches directly with the use of linear and exponential functions is performed.
In order to enhance the accuracy of predictions on the level of the Ministry of
Economy, it is proposed to obtain data on the forecasted demand and supply in
branches from lower authorities.

ECONOMIC TIES: TRENDS OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT
L. Shostak, O. Badrak «Open economy: perspectives of Ukraine’s positioning in the world economic
system» – The main characteristics of open economies are considered, and
the state of openness of Ukraine’s
economy is analyzed. It is noted that the reasonable openness of a national
economy requires the essential interference of the state through the formation
of a controlling system including the collection of levers and tools aimed at
the protection of individual domestic producers and the whole economic
mechanism. Some measures for the improvement of Ukraine’s economy positioning in
the world economic system under conditions of the increasing financial-economic
crisis are proposed.

Velychko V. «Development of the theoretical principles of
China’s transient economy
and their regional aspect» – The place and functions of China’s
transient economy in the spatial plane are determined. With the use of
theoretical and methodological tools of fundamental economic theory and a
number of applied economic sciences, the social meaning of regional
achievements in China
in the context of the reform of its economic system is clarified.

Hnybidenko I. «Influence of the world financial
economic crisis on Ukraine’s social sphere» – The author considers modern
problems of the action of the financial-economic crisis on the state of the
social sphere, analyzes the state of state’s influence on economic and social
processes, and proposes some adequate measures as for the minimization of
consequences of the crisis phenomena and the introduction of more efficient
tools for the realization of state’s social functions.
Butko M., Murashko M. «Genesis of the social
responsibility of business and its formation in Ukraine» – It is proved that
the globalization generates many social problems, especially in countries with
transient economy. The modern aspects of the management of global processes
concerning the corporative social responsibility of business and some
peculiarities of the formation of this mission in Ukraine are studied

Dovbenko M. «Paul Robin Krugman (USA)» – The
communication presents the approach of P. Krugman, an American economist, to the
solution of urgent problems of international trade and his innovatory results
named “a new international economy.” Just his analysis of trade models and the
determination of a place of economic activity were awarded Nobel’s prize in
economy in 2008.
