D. Preiger «State and problems of the development of Ukraine’s aircraft branch» –
The reasons for the system crisis of the aircraft branch are analyzed. With
regard for the world experience and the up-to-date requirements, the history,
state, and problems of the development of the aircraft industry, as well as the
cargo and passenger air transportations, and perspectives of a reconstruction
of the branch infrastructure are studied in detail.
PROBLEMS OF ECONOMIC THEORY
I. Kryukova «Problems of ergonomics» – The
contemporary state of ergonomics is studied, and the shortcomings inherent in
it are clarified. In view of specific features of the development of science,
the reasons for its contradictions are elucidated. The author makes conclusion
about the necessity to extend its content at the expense of solving the
problems of ergonomicity of the social economy system
on the whole. These problems are related to the ecological and entropic aspects
of ergonomics which are systematically considered in the article.

P. Bubenko, V. Gusev «Why are the
innovative processes in Ukraine decelerated?» – The state
of the innovative development of the national economic system is analyzed, and
the main institutional drawbacks which do not allow consider the domestic
innovation theory, the available innovation system, and mechanisms of its
functioning to be perfect are revealed. The absence of any perspectives for the
dominating engineering approach to the processes of innovative development is
substantiated, and the urgency of both a nonlinear cycle of realization of
innovations and the development of the innovative business is proved.

«Peculiarities and perspectives of the
corporatization of enterprises» – The authors pay attention to the
joint-stock companies built up in the process of corporatization and analyze
the legal definition of the terms “corporatization,” “corporation,” and
“corporatized enterprise.” The motives, sphere of application, and procedure of
corporatization, as well as the peculiarities of a corporatized enterprise, are
clarified, and the specific features of the establishment of holding companies
are
considered.

L. Shablist «Mechanisms to overcome the unprofitableness
of enterprises and the ensuring of their financial stability» –
The author substantiates the necessity to introduce the anticrisis
innovations to the management of enterprises with the purpose to overcome their
unprofitableness and to ensure their stable
operation. A special attention is paid to the financial innovations and the
directions to the activization of state’s role in
strengthening the finances of enterprises.
SCIENTIFIC DISCUSSIONS
A. Goncharuk «Ensuring the efficiency of the production of
meat in Ukraine»
– By using various tools and models of the marginal
analysis and the benchmark method, the comparative analysis of the efficiency
of 29 Ukrainian and 53 foreign companies operating in the meat branch is
performed. A significant effect of organizational and managerial factors on the
efficiency of domestic enterprises is established, and a considerable potential
for the enhancement of the branch efficiency is shown.

“Ukraine in
the global commercial and investment medium» – The author
analyzes the state and the dynamics of both the external trade and the foreign
investment into Ukraine in the interconnection with rating estimates of the
country in the global trade and investment medium and substantiates the
attainment of the extremely high trade openness under conditions of the
incompleteness of structural reforms, the infrastructure development lack, and
an increase of the influence of the external medium.

PROBLEMS IN THE MANAGEMENT PRACTICE
Oliinyk D. «To the question about the consumption of
genetically modified organisms in Ukraine» – The author considers the
expediency to introduce the common approach as for the use of food products
which include genetically modified organisms, analyzes their consumption in
Ukraine and the effect on the health of consumers, and gives some
recommendations concerning a reformation of the system of technical regulation
and the consumption policy by introducing the technical regulations and
normative-legal acts as for the establishment of requirements to the safety of
food products which are produced of the raw materials obtained from genetically
modified plants and animals.
