March 3, 2017 in Brussels, First Meeting EU-Ukraine Sub-Committee on Economic and Other Sector Cooperation – Cluster 2 was held chaired by Natalia Mykolska - Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine - Ukraine Trade Representative.
Gianluca GRIPPA (head of Division European External Action Service, Strategy and Instruments of the European Neighborhood) led the EU delegation.
At the session of Cluster 2 EU and Ukrainian sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of industrial and enterprise policy, tourism, space, development of company law and corporate governance, as well as consumer protection and taxation.
To attract foreign investors to geological exploration, research and industrial development and mining, tourism potential of Ukraine EU and Ukrainian sides discussed priorities of effective cooperation in these areas.
Separately Parties paid attention to reforms performed by the Ukrainian side in taxation, corporate governance and consumer protection.
