EU ambassadors endorse the Plan for the Ukraine Facility ahead of EU Council meeting On 8 May, the Ambassadors of the Member States of the European Union endorsed the Plan for the Ukraine Facility, agreeing with the positive assessment of the document proposed by the European Commission. The implementing decision approving the Plan is now expected to be taken at the EU Council meeting on 14 May. The relevant documents between Ukraine and the EU are also expected to be signed in the near future to fully launch the programme.

Government supports ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey On 7 May, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a draft law on the ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey. Today’s decision creates the basis for completing domestic procedures for the entry into force of the Agreement. The next step is to submit the draft law for ratification by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
