The government has canceled the ban on the export of ryes and mineral fertilizers. An automatic licensing regime has been introduced for these products.

Currently, transitional rye remains in Ukraine are estimated at 73 thousand tons, and grain production is forecast at 351 thousand tons. This will allow to ensure the domestic need for consumption, which is 353 thousand tons per year. 

In addition, due to the completion of the sowing campaign, the demand for the purchase of mineral fertilizers is significantly lower. And the exportation of the surplus of these commodity positions will allow to increase the foreign currency proceeds to the country, which is an important condition for economic recovery. 

Let us remind you that earlier the Government introduced a zero quota for the exportation of ryes and mineral fertilizers, which actually meant a ban on their supply. Such measures were necessary to ensure the mandatory presence of these critically important goods on the market.
