Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in accordance with the CMU Decree #142 “On selection process of independent members of Supervisory Boards” of March 10, 2017 and MEDT Order #690 “On establishment of Supervisory Board of PJSC "United Mining and Chemical Company" of May 11, 2017 announces the competitive selection of 4 independent members of the Supervisory Board of PJSC "United Mining and Chemical Company".

Main activity of the Company: Mining and steel operations:

• Ore mining of other non-ferrous metals, sand, gravel, clay and kaolin;
• Mining of mineral raw materials for chemical and mineral fertilizers;
• Exploratory drilling;
• Production of industrial gases, dyes and pigments, other inorganic basic chemicals;
• Wholesale of metals and metal ores, chemical products.

Requirements

• Higher education in the relevant field – Management and Administration, Production and Technology, Public Administration and Administration, International Relations, Law;
• At least 10 years at managerial positions at companies, agencies, organizations or at state service or work equal to it;
• Experience in solving conflicts and conducting negotiations;
• Successful experience in Supervisory boards membership of joint-stock companies, managerial positions at international companies and foreign trade activity of mining companies will be a plus;
• Knowledge of the Mining industry will be a plus;
• Knowledge of foreign language will be a plus;
• Honesty, impartiality and impeccable business reputation;
• The candidate must not occupy elected positions and work for official government bodies and / or local authorities.

Core functions of the Member of the Supervisory Board of the Company

• Constructive and critical evaluation of proposals for the Company's strategy;
• Control over Company’s management reporting;
• Ensuring the effective system of internal control including audit;
• Decision-making on financial control mechanism and risk management;
• Ensuring strategic and financial stability of the Company during crisis.

Core qualifications of the Member of the Supervisory Board of the Company

• Finance;
• Foreign economic activity;
• Risk Management;
• Strategic Management.
