The Trade Facilitation Working Group of the International Trade Council (TFWG)
For the purpose of implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (hereinafter – the TFA), internal coordination between central executive authorities responsible for implementation of the TFA and pursuant to paragraph 7.1 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 455 of 04.07.2017 “On establishment of the International Trade Council”, was constituted the Trade Facilitation Working Group of the International Trade Council (hereinafter – the TFWG) with entrusted the functions of the National Committee on Trade Facilitation according to Article 23.2 of TFA.
In general, the TFWG provides a forum for consultation and exchange of experience on trade facilitation, monitors the implementation of the TFA, promotes the implementation of individual trade facilitation measures, improves coordination between government agencies, strengthens public-private partnerships, etc.
