Main tasks of the department include:

accounting of financial and economic activities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and reporting;

disposal of budgetary funds within the established budget allocations, efficient, effective and targeted use thereof, organization and coordination of the work on revenue completeness, assumed budget commitments, spent budgetary funds, exercising of the internal control of administrators and recipients of lower level budgetary funds in the budget process;

reflection of reliable and complete information about business operations and performance in the documents which is necessary for prompt management of budget assignments (allocations) and financial and tangible (intangible) resources;

ensuring the adherence to the requirements of budget legislation when assuming budget commitments, timely submission of such commitments for registration, making payments in accordance with assumed budget commitments, accurate and complete presentation of transactions in accounting and reporting;

methodological management and control over compliance with the requirements of legislation on accounting, preparing the financial and fiscal reporting at the enterprises, institutions and organizations accountable to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine;

preparing of estimates, financing of expenses and accounting of expenditures for bilateral international events, including for payment of registration fees to international organizations;

fulfillment of legally prescribes functions of accounting, monitoring, analysis and generalization of information about incomes arriving to the budget as a fee for the provision of administrative services;

organizational support of the work of the Competitive Tender Committee of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine related to logistical support of the Ministry;

prevention of negative phenomena in financial and economic activity, identification and mobilization of domestic reserves, development of measures aimed at an increase in the efficiency of using the material resources at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine;

organization of logistical support of structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and addressing of social issues of its employees;

implementation of measures on labor protection of employees of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
